  πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Happy Birthday, America! July 4, 2026, marks a historic milestone: the 250th birthday of the United States of America. On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, officially declaring that the thirteen American colonies were no longer under British rule. While the road to independence was long and difficult, this moment laid the foundation for the country we know today. Two hundred and fifty years later, Americans continue to celebrate with fireworks, family gatherings, parades, backyard barbecues, and a healthy amount of red, white, and blue. As someone whose family immigrated to the United States from Vietnam, I often find myself reflecting on the opportunities and experiences I've had because of this country. America is far from perfect. Every country has strengths and weaknesses, and every place in the world has something unique to offer. This list is simply my personal opinion and experiences.
